Citrus College Career Technical Education: Career Pathways and Articulation
-
Career Pathways
A career pathway advances a student's acquisition of industry-recognized knowledge, skills, abilities, and culminates in the earning of certificate(s) of achievement, degree, transfer and/or employment depending on the educational goal.
Many students enroll in career technical education (CTE) courses during high school then transition to Citrus College to continue their studies.
Review the CTE Pathway Maps Handbook (available as a PDF).
-
Articulation
High school articulation helps students transition from one course, program, educational level, or from one institution to the next by minimizing course repetition, saving money, time, and effort.
High school articulation provides a unique opportunity to earn college credit through a process called "credit by examination." See How Students Earn Credit in Articulated Classes.
